- This document summarizes our fish inventory and assessment to catalogue and categorize all present species in Nepal, including the locations, spawning hotspots, and potential threats to their conservation. This report also includes analysis of factors related to risk management and upstream-downstream water issues, and advocates for minimizing the impacts of infrastructures that prevent fish migration. In the latter sections, we present ideas for defining different stakeholders' roles and responsibilities for enhancing conservation of freshwater biodiversity in situ.
